My Story
From City Hall to Hard Hats: How I Became the Bridge Between Contractors and Government Work
I didn’t start in construction — I started behind a podium. Fresh out of college, I was writing speeches, managing press, and running public outreach for city government. I knew how to navigate red tape. I knew how to speak agency. But what I didn’t know yet was that my real mission was on the job site — helping contractors get through that same red tape to build something bigger.

I entered the construction world from the ground up — coordinating, estimates, project managing, chasing down bid forms, and learning exactly how this industry runs behind the scenes. Since then, I’ve led multimillion-dollar projects, grown business pipelines for top general contractors, and consulted for the same agencies I once worked within — including the City of Los Angeles, San Diego, LADWP, LA County, and Port of LA.

Today, I teach small and diverse contractors how to:

-
Get certified and contract-ready
-
Avoid disqualifications that cost them millions
-
Understand the system so they can win inside it

I built the very program I wish someone handed the builders I believe in. Because what I kept seeing over and over was this: contractors weren’t losing because of quality — they were losing because of setup. Bad paperwork. Wrong codes. No strategy. And no one showing them how it actually works.
So I became the one who does.

My clients describe my approach as:
“Fast, clear, and real.”
“You cut through the noise and get it DONE.”
“You make this easy to understand — and even energizing.”
With 17 years of cross-sector experience in government, construction, marketing, and media, I’m not here to teach theory. I’m here to give you the exact roadmap — step-by-step — to get certified, qualified, and paid.
